Japanese cars 'are most reliable' As asuperincome.com continues its quest to introduce different ways for people to earn more money, and make their current or future incomes go faster, its not just earning more money we talk about. We talk about saving money as well. It's important at the start of become financially comfortable to be sensible with money, and one big expense a large percentage of the world has, is motor costs. So i decided on todays post to talk about the most reliable cars in the world at the moment. Good information if you are thinking of making a new purchase. Cars made by Japanese manufacturers are still the most reliable, according to a survey by Which? Car magazine. Now this isn't really new news, most people believe jap cars to be the most reliable, whats suprising is the number of the cars that are getting good ratings. Japanese cars took the top seven places for reliability in a table compiled after a study of 90,000 vehicles. In the manufacturers' table, Honda came top, followed by Toyota, Daihatsu, Lexus, Mazda, Subaru and Suzuki. Although Honda topped the makers' charts, its Civic – made in Swindon in Wiltshire – came joint bottom in the list of reliable medium size cars. THE MOST RELIABLE CARS ARE: Supermini: Honda Jazz/Skoda Fabia The manufacturers at the bottom of the rankings were Chrysler/Dodge and Land Rover – the UK firm recently sold by Ford to Indian conglomerate Tata – which were classed as "poor". "Japan continues to show the rest of the world how to make consistently reliable cars, although the new Honda Civic shows they're not infallible," said Which? Car editor Richard Headland. The survey reports on nearly 90,000 cars made across the globe. The "Most reliable car brand" survey looked at cars up to eight years old while the "Most reliable car model" used data on vehicles up to two years old. Among the marques praised included Skoda – owned by Volkswagen. LEAST RELIABLE CARS Supermini: Fiat Grande Punto "Skoda out-performs Seat and VW itself," the report said. "So much for being the budget arm of the VW Group." And it noted that expensive German brands, including Audi, BMW and Mercedes-Benz all fell into the "average" reliability category, "suggesting there's still some way to go to ensure their well-engineered cars remain dependable over the medium and long term". Hopefully that has made for interesting reading, espically if your thinking of spending your hard earned money on a new car. It could be worth reading again, as long term it may mean lots of saved money in garage bills.
A very quick post here, carrying on from a post I did on saving money on petrol and diesel, I have just been sent this link to petition to Gordon Brown, to lower the tax on our fuels. A typically British way of protesting I must add, whilst over in mainland europe, they are blocking up roads, and ports, in the UK we write a petition. Ah well who knows, old Mr Brown may pay some attention, who knows.

If its making money your after, then visit www.asuperincome.co.uk which explains all about my amazing home based business, creating me a super residual income. Okay here are some money saving tips, when topping up you car with petrol or diesel. ONLYBUY OR FILL UP YOUR CAR OR BIKKIE IN THE EARLY MORNING WHEN THEGROUND TEMPERATURE IS STILL COLD. Remember that all service stations have their storage tanks buried below ground. The colder the ground, the denser the fuel, when it gets warmer petrol expands, so buying in the afternoon or in the evening…. your liter is not exactly a liter. Ø In the petroleum business, the specific gravity and the temperature of the petrol, diesel and jet fuel, ethanol and other petroleum products play an important role. A 1degree rise in temperature is a big deal for this business. But the service stations do not have temperature compensation at the pumps. WHEN YOU'RE FILLING UP, DO NOT SQUEEZE THE TRIGGER OF THE NOZZLE TO AFAST MODE . If you look, you will see that the trigger has three (3) stages: low, middle, and high. In slow mode, you should be pumping on low speed, thereby minimizing the vapors that are created, while you are pumping. All hoses at the pump have a vapor return. If you are pumping on the fast rate, some of the liquid that goes to your tank becomes vapor. Those vapors are being sucked up and back into the underground storage tank so you're getting less worth for your money. ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT TIPS IS TO FILL UP WHEN YOUR TANK IS HALFFULL . The reason for this is, the more fuel you have in your tank, the less air occupying its empty space. Petrol evaporates faster than you can imagine. Petroleum storage tanks have an internal floating roof. This roof serves as zero clearance between the petrol and the atmosphere, so it minimizes the evaporation. Unlike service stations, here where I work, every truck that we load is temperature compensated, so that every liter is actually the exact amount. ANOTHER REMINDER, IF THERE IS A FUEL TRUCK PUMPING INTO THE STORAGE TANKS, WHEN YOU STOP TO BUY, DO NOT FILL UP- most likely the petrol/diesel is being stirred up as the fuel is being delivered, and you might pick up some of the dirt that normally settles on the bottom. Hope, this will help you get the maximum value for your money. DO SHARE THESE TIPS WITH OTHERS! LET'S SHARE INFORMATION AND BENEFITALL, FOR THE BETTER OF MANKIND . |
